Helene Nomsa Brath STEM School

Helene Nomsa Brath STEM School is dedicated to developing the technical prowess of Namibian youth. Our curriculum is designed to prepare students to responsibly manage and harness natural resources such as gas, oil, and minerals within Namibia. Additionally, we aim to empower our students to engage meaningfully in the digital global economy, focusing on fields such as biotechnology, quantum computing, material science, and the burgeoning space economy.

Mission Statement

Helene Nomsa Brath Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) School is committed to establishing a 21st-century secondary educational curriculum for grades eight through twelve. Our mission is to equip Namibia’s future generation with the technical skills necessary to effectively manage the country’s natural resources and actively participate in the global economy.

Mgavi Elombe Brathwaite
  • Over 15 years experience teaching and advising students in Omics technology.
  • More than two decades of experience in sequence analysis and annotation.
  • More than 30 years experience in biotechnology.
  • Over a decade of experience in designing curriculum design.

Dawid Snewe
  • More than 25 years experience in High School Teaching of Mathematics
  • Member of the Otjozondjupa Mathematics Grade 10 to AS Hub
  • More than 15 years experience in Tutoring Mathematics
  • Member of the National Mathematics and Science group Grade 4 to Grade 12 ( AS LEVEL)
  • Member of the Namibia Mathematics Mentors Group

  • Worked at Namibia Institute of Pathology(NIP) 20+yrs as Business Development Officer, Manager, Corporate Affairs, Senior Manager: Quality Assurance and Senior Manager
  • BTech: Biomedical Technology
